Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding
Our tree-lined slopes, challenging vertical drops (including the highest in Eastern Ontario) and gentle runs make the Ottawa Valley a great skiing and snowboarding destination.
Most hills offer state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming equipment, which means plenty of good skiing and snowboarding conditions from mid-November through March. Best of all, you don't have to drive more than 45 minutes from any point in Renfrew County to access great runs! |

Skating
What could be more exhilarating than taking the family out into the cool, crisp air, slapping on a pair of skates and gliding the day away on one of our well-maintained municipal rinks or skating trails. Our skating season is generally from mid-November through to March (weather inclement).

Snowmobiling
Winter in the Ottawa Valley means lots of snow and crisp temperatures - perfect snowmobiling weather for sledding enthusiasts. We offer snowmobile enthusiasts over 2,550km/1,580 mi of groomed Trans Ontario Provincial (TOP) trails and local trails that wind through picturesque villages, along abandoned rail beds, past old mine sites and ghost towns. |
