When fall turns to winter, our communities become alive with festivity. Enjoy the moon's gentle light as it reflects off large snowflakes dancing through the cool, crisp air. Partake in our numerous outdoor activities: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, downhill skiing or snowboarding, tobogganing, skating, winter camping, ice fishing, ice climbing and dog sledding. Or take an enchanting ride on a horse drawn sleigh.

Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding

Most hills offer state-of-the-art snowmaking and grooming equipment, which means plenty of good skiing and snowboarding conditions from mid-November through March. Best of all, you don't have to drive more than 45 minutes from any point in Renfrew County to access great runs!
