Nature’s tapestry sets the stage for the annual Rural Ramble - a free self-guided driving tour featuring three weekends of exploration, agriculture, culture and history. The rural celebration begins with the Adventure & Exploration weekend (September 18 – 19), followed by the Agriculture and Food (September 25-26) and wraps up with the Arts & Culture and History & Heritage weekend (October 2 – 3).
Every year thousands of visitors flock to the region to bask in the glow of the brilliant fall colours and experience the Ottawa Valley first hand. This year’s event showcases some of the best of what Ottawa Valley has to offer with an unprecedented 37 sites including whitewater rafting, world renowned natural attractions, amusement parks, local restaurants, organic farms, traditional agricultural operations, boutiques, antique shops, art galleries, studio tours, museums and cultural centres. There is truly something for everybody!
The Rural Ramble is a celebration of rural living at its best. It’s the perfect opportunity for the cultivation of new friendships and Valley hospitality. Come back to the countryside with us!
