42nd Field Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish) RCA Regimental MuseumThe many Canadian military artifacts on display in this heritage building showcase the history of the various services, branches, corps and regiments represented.
The museum preserves and interprets these valued artifacts to generate a sense of identity and esprit de corps for visitors, and brings the principles of military values and leadership to life. Operated by the 1st Air Defence Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment) of the Royal Canadian Artillery.

An unusual, fun, self-guided outdoor learning experience for the young, the old, and the whole family. Collect minerals and gemstones in an old open pit quarry called the Beryl Pit. Registration and daily fee at Kauffeldt's store in Quadeville. Open Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am, Sunday from 10:00 am.

Arnprior and District Museum

 

Situated in picturesque Arnprior, the Anprior & District Museum is housed in the historic Thomas Fuller-designed Post Office. Come explore two floors of local artifacts, photographs and interactive exhibits pertaining to lumbering, railways, commerce, sports, Charles Macnamara and Arnprior's early First Nations People. Ask about our summer children's programs!
 
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m - 4 p.m. 
 
Admission is $3.50 for adults, $2 for seniors and students, and $9 for families.

Birthplace NHA NHL  Museum

Our Birthplace NHA/NHL Museum showcases hockey history from Renfrew County, including the fact that M.J. O’Brien and his son Ambrose started the National Hockey Association (NHA) from Renfrew in 1909. The NHA was later renamed the National Hockey League in 1917 due to the settlement of ongoing litigation. The Museum features pictures and artifacts showcasing the early days of hockey in the NHA and NHL especially as it was represented in Renfrew County.

Bonnechere Caves
Bonnechere CavesUnder a hill of limestone, said by geologists to have been the bottom of a tropical sea 500 million years ago, the Caves present a weird and wonderful sight. Take in a guided tour and see natures’ handwork in the stalactites, rock icicles and many fossils that can be found in the cave network. The Bonnechere Caves are a not to be missed experience.
