Kids Days in July and August at the Champlain Trail MuseumPress Release for immediate release June 19, 2009
On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm in July and August the Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village will be holding Kids Days! This Summer’s Kids Day program is not to be missed! Activity highlights include wacky science experiments, pioneer survivor, telescope/kaleidoscope constructing, build your own dream catchers/inukshuks, scavenger hunts, learning about pioneer life by making traditional food and home-made ice cream as well as completing a mock dig like a real archaeologist!!! There will be special appearances from an array of fictional characters and a few local demonstrators. Kids ages 5-12 are welcomed, register one week before the chosen activity.
