Champlain Trail Museum Open for 2009 SeasonMedia Release May 30, 2009 For Immediate Release
The Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village is now open for tours! The Museum is open for tours from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. In July and August the Museum will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Admission fees are $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors (65+), $3.00 for students and $1.00 for children age 5 and under. This season the Museum is also participating in the Adventure Pass program between Kelloggs Canada and the Canadian Museum Association. Adventure passes can be found on the back of all Kelloggs cereals. These passes can be cut out and brought in to the Museum. The pass entitles the bearer to one free admission with a full-fare paying adult. This program will be going on at the Museum all season! The other program that the Museum is participating in is the Renfrew County Museums Pass. This pass can be taken out at the Petawawa Library. When presented it entitles the bearer to a free family admission at the Museum. The Museum is also now the vendor for the Ottawa River Heritage Series prints. These paintings are on sale for $30.00 a set. Signed sets of prints are being sold for $50.00 each. The original prints are also on permanent exhibit now at the Museum. So come back to the Museum this Summer and enjoy a tour of Pembroke’s past while viewing our new exhibits!
