Road Construction: October 10 - 14, 2011


On Going Projects:

Clay Bank Bridge (120) on County Road 2 (White Lake Road)
Township of McNab/Braeside

The County of Renfrew will be undertaking repairs to the Clay Bank Bridge over the Madawaska River on County Road 2 (White Lake Road). Traffic over the bridge will be reduced to a single lane, controlled with traffic signals until November 4, 2011. This may result in restrictions to vehicles and equipment with wide loads. Please expect delays.

County Road 28 (Barron Canyon Road)
Township of Laurentian Valley and Town of Petawawa

The re-construction of County Road 28 (Barron Canyon Road) will continue until mid-October. During the construction, the road will remain open to traffic; however, traffic may be reduced to a single lane at times. Reduced speed limit signs will be posted. Please expect delays.

County Road 66 (Opeongo Road)
Township of Madawaska Valley

The reconstruction of county Road 66 (Opeongo Road) from Wilno South Road easterly 1.5 km is continuing. The road will remain open to traffic but may be reduced to a single lane at times. Please obey posted speed limits and drive with caution.

County Road 63 (Flat Rapids Road)
Township of McNab/Braeside

The reconstruction of County Road 63 (Flat Rapids Road) will continue from 300 metres east of Mill Ridge Road westerly 1.1 kilometres. This work will include the relocation of the Mill Ridge Road intersection. During the construction the road will remain open to traffic; however, traffic may be reduced to a single lane at times. Reduced speed limit signs will be posted and will be radar enforced. Please expect delays.

County Road 22 (Grattan Road)
Township of Bonnechere Valley

Reconstruction of County Road 22 (Grattan Road) will continue until the end of October. The road will remain open to traffic, but may be reduced to one lane at times. Temporary road closures may be required to accommodate specific construction activities. Please expect delays. Please obey the posted speed limits and drive with caution.

Calabogie Bridge (B032) on County Road 511 (Lanark Road)
Township of Greater Madawaska

Work on the rehabilitation of the Calabogie Bridge is now nearing complete.

Completed Projects:

County Road 61 (Haley Road & Godfrey Road
Township of Whitewater Region

Construction is completed.
