| Ride for Logan Love for Logan Sep 4th 2010 - Sep 4th 2010
TO ALL INTERESTED VETERANS / SUPPORTERS/ AND FRIENDS.
The community of CHALK RIVER will be hosting a fund raiser for the SON of a former Petawawa soldier, Dan Marchisella. Dan's 3 year old son Logan has been diagnosed with ALL ACUTE LUKEMIA. Dan, a retired military cook (RCD),& and his wife Misty reside in Chalk River with their two young children.
We would like to extend the opportunity to help out this family with a charity motorcycle ride, followed by a Spaghetti dinner, silent auction,& and Dance hosted by "JACK AND CYNTHIA KARAOKE, & DJ" at the CHALK RIVER LIONS HALL.
The cost for the ride will be $20.00 for the rider and $10.00 for the passenger. (Ten Dollars per plate, is covered in this cost).
The Ride:
Registration will open at 10:00 am @ the Chalk River Lions Hall, Engines fired up and wheels turning at 12:00pm.
We will depart Chalk River on Hwy 17, heading towards Petawawa; turn Right onto County Rd 26; turn right onto Hwy 58 towards Round Lake; turn left on Hwy 60/62 toward Eganville; turn left onto Lake Dore Rd; turn left onto Hwy 41 towards Pembroke; turn left onto Hwy 17 heading back to Chalk River.
It is suggested to arrive at the Lions Hall with a FULL tank of fuel.

| Located on Highway 60. Follow Highway 60 into Barry's Bay. The visitor centre is located just before the three way stop. It is an old railway station near a water tower. |

| Located at 2517 Lanark Road. From downtown Renfrew, take county road 52 down to Burnstown. Turn right onto County Road 508. Continue along this road until you reach County Road 511 (Stinson's Gas on left). Turn left onto this road. Continue through Calabogie. At the "Y" intersection, keep to the left side. Cross the bridge. The visitor centre is located on the right side of the road. It is an old log cabin. |

| From Higway 17, take Highway 41 towards Eganville. Continue along until you pass Lake Dore. Soon after, turn left onto Lett's Cemetery road. Follow the road all the way into Eganville. At the intersection with the main street in Eganville, turn left and then right almost immediately into the parking lot for the visitor's centre. The centre is an old log cabin. |

| Killaloe |

| | Located on Queen Street. From highway 60, at the yellow flashing light, take County Road 512 into town. Remain on this road; it will turn into Queen Street. The visitor centre is a little hut located on the left hand side of the road next to the chip truck. |

| | Off Highway 17, take the exit for Hwy. 41 towards Pembroke (Paul Martin Drive). Take your first left onto International Drive. This is the house-like structure right across the road from the Best Western Pembroke Inn. |

| Petawawa National Research Forest |

| | On Highway 17, From Pembroke, pass the signs for Petawawa. You will see a sign for the Petawawa Research Forest. Take a left off Hwy 17. This centre services the Town of Deep River, Town of Laurentian Hills, Township of Head Clara and Maria, and the Town of Petawawa. |

| Renfrew (Downtown) |

| Located at 161 Raglan Street South.
From Highway 17, take O'Brien Road exit into Renfrew. Continue down O'Brien road that runs onto Raglan Street at the intersection at the first set of lights. Follow down Raglan Street South to locate the Chamber of Commerce in the Information Centre on the right hand side of the street (beside the library). |
