Saturday - Feb. 11, 2012 Calabogie Peaks Resort will be teaming up again with Big Rock Brewery to host a Military Appreciation and club fun day. This means serving (and retired) Regular (and Reserve) Force personnel will able to ski or board for free.
Immediate families are also welcome to join for half price lift tickets and equipment rentals. Unaccompanied spouses and children are included but should have their family ID cards which are available from the Family Resource Centre. Military personnel will require their CF ID. National Capital Ski Club members are invited to come out at and join in the fun - on and off snow. Lift tickets will be available to club members at 20% off. Members will require their club membership cards. Ski Lift tickets are to be obtained at the Adventure Centre inside the main lodge.
Come hit the slopes then sample some Big Rock beer and win some prizes. Bring the kids to join in the fun and participate in a scavenger hunt.

- What hours are we able to ski?

- Is the equipment rental free to military member?
No only the lift ticket is free to serving military/retired military & foreign military, rentals are ½ price same as their family members.
- What if we do not have our military ID cards for our families?
They will be given a sample letter from MFRC of which a copy has been sent to Calabogie for the Adventure Centre staff to be aware they do not want the family rec cards, just this letter is fine. MFRC does not have time to make up all these cards.
