calabogie ribfest“Calabogie Peaks Resort is very excited to host, with DAWG FM, the first large scale music event ever at the mountain. Located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley, The Peaks is one of Ontario’s premier ski & all season resorts, offering year around amenities. The natural amphitheatre and magnificent grounds make this an extra special place to bring the blues to ground!” said Liz Murphy, an Owner Manager of Calabogie Peaks Resort.

A portion of proceeds from the event will go to local and national charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Blues in Schools.

The event takes place August 12th, 13th and 14th at Calabogie Peaks Resort. Located on the shores of Calabogie Lake, one hour from Ottawa, the resort has on-site accommodation as well as lower mountain camping for the weekend.

With more bands still to be announced, the current lineup is:  Johnny Max Band, David Gogo, Monkey Junk, Jesse Green Band, Al Wood and the Woodsmen, Al Tambay, Wild T & the Spirit, Guitar Explosion with Steve Strongman and Paul Deslauriers.
