The Great Bonnechere Valley Moose-Tache Challenge! A MOVEMBER EVENT November 1st 2011 until December 1st 2011
Movember is a month-long fundraising campaign to raise awareness of men's health and fight prostate cancer. All monies raised go to Prostate Cancer Canada Help Niall McArdle from Serendipity on the River in Eganville in his moustache-growing efforts! Visit his Movember site to donate or drop in to see him in Eganville. You can take part yourself: On Tuesday, November 1st, there will be a kick-off party at Frisco's in Eganville at 6:30 pm followed on December 1st with a wrap-up party again at Frisco's. There will be prizes in various categories, including best moustache, most impressive, best team, and most money raised. Frisco's, Serendipity on the River, Miller BMR and Reinke Home Hardware have all donated prizes. Other businesses are welcome to donate prizes (the manlier, the better!)
