The sacredness, flexibility, utility, beauty and overall joy of the bodies we inhabit will be on exhibit from its opening on the 11th, from 4 to 7 pm with the artist-photographer in attendance, until the 26th of October. Gloria Steinem said we must take back images of our bodies from the pornographers- Wendell Berry said it is ridiculous for a Christian to despise their body and yet believe in its resurrection. McCaffrey follows and develops these themes in his photographs and does it in a wide variety of styles. His photographic philosophy can be viewed at www.bernardmccaffrey.blogspot.com.
