Madawaska Valley (Township of)
The Railway Station, originally built in the 1890s and restored nearly 100 years later, currently houses an arts centre and gallery, a heritage museum and the visitor information centre.
Madawaska Valley boasts over 60 kms of navigable waterways, rivers and lakes where you can explore, paddle, kayak or raft. Miles of abandoned rail bed offer easy biking and strolling, as well as motorized travel in all seasons. From the 175 kms of groomed snowmobile trails that run through our township, you can access the over 4000 kms in the provincial trail system for winter adventure beyond your wildest imagination.
