Red Wolf Retreat      Relax in the Madawaska Highlands of eastern Ontario at Red Wolf Retreat. Red Wolf Retreat offers accommodations in Yurts and Cabins. A blend of modern comforts and rustic charm awaits you. We are a small environmental footprint experience utilizing wind and solar energy in our daily operation. A range of activities are available on the grounds and in the nearby area make a varied and relaxing stay. By coming here you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and still have enough activities to keep you as busy as you like want to be. The retreat is appealing to families and friends and couples. You can be as adventurous as you like with on-site and off-site activities as you become immersed in the beauty of nature. That’s what happens here.
On site activities you can include are hiking, walking, and canoeing or fishing for Trout in our small private lake, and snowshoeing, and cross country skiing on nice groomed trails. ATV and snowmobiling trails are close by.
Red Wolf Retreat cabins and yurts have all the niceties (pots pans, dishes, BBQ and campfire) to make packing for your trip easier for you. Sheets and towels are also available. Pets are also welcome. Central bathroom provides a toilet and a hot shower.
Nature awaits you in this beautiful area that is defined by its artisans and early settlement trails. Our best advice is to bring binoculars and a good book!
